Molly's Answer: We met at a crepe place in Winston Salem. The conversation just flowed, and I felt like we had known each other for years. We talked and talked, even as it became clear they were closing the restaurant around us. The manager finally came over and told us we could go to the front and pay whenever we were ready. I figured Lucas knew how the restaurant worked and just wanted to keep talking. Turns out he had no idea. We had a great time and still laugh about getting "kicked out" of the restaurant to this day. Molly's Answer: It was a totally normal night, except for the fact that there was a literal hurricane raging around us. We were at my apartment for the weekend and most of our plans had been spoiled by the weather. Most of the day had been spent on the couch watching movies. As the weather got worse and the power started flickering, Lucas told me to close my eyes. He placed the ring on my hand and gave me a speech about being his "calm in the storm of this crazy life". Saying yes was the easiest decision I have ever made. Lucas's Answer: "that's private"
