Things To Do

This is the city where we fell in love. We're excited to share a couple of our favorite spots!

Saturday Morning Farmers' Market

2 E Main Street, Madison, WI 53703

Going to the Farmers' Market is one of our favorite traditions. Snack on some cheese curds and maple candy as you walk around Capitol Square--bonus points if you stop at a food cart for a smoothie!

Our Favorite Restaurants

Breakfast/Brunch* ・Mickies Dairy Bar ・Shortstack ・Bassett Street Brunch Club *Wisconsinites take their brunch seriously. Be prepared for a wait at any restaurant you try! (especially if you arrive after 10 AM) Lunch/Dinner ・Dotty Dumpling's Dowry ・Ian's Pizza ・Porta Bella ・A8 (very cheap Chinese food) ・Nitty Gritty (especially if you're celebrating a birthday!) Sweet Treats Greenbush Bakery Chocolate Shoppe ice cream on State Street Babcock ice cream at the Union Hubbard Avenue Diner for pie in Middleton

Memorial Terrace

800 Langdon Street, Madison, WI 53706

The terrace is fun at all times of day. You can grab some ice cream and admire the views. Or you can brave the crowds at sunset and claim a spot to share a pitcher and some cheese curds with friends and family.

Feeling Active?

You can: Rent kayaks or paddle boards from the memorial union terrace. Walk the lakefront trail out to picnic point. Stroll through the paths in the arboretum. Rent bikes and bike the bike trail.
