Huntington Beach is a great place to check out if you're planning on staying in close proximity to the venue itself, right across the PCH.

Huntington Beach Pier

Really needs no introduction. Disneyland and California Adventure are located about 15 miles from the venue, and are a great option for Disney kids and adults alike.

If you're a big fan of roller coasters, or looking for a cheaper option than Disneyland, then you can also check out Knott's Berry Farm, also located about 15 miles from the venue

For those flying in or out of LAX, or spending more time in the area, you can check out the greater LA area, about 50 miles north of the venue. Popular options include the Santa Monica and Venice beaches, Beverly Hills, or Universal Studios.

Another option, especially for those with young children, is Legoland, located about 60 miles south of the venue in Carlsbad.

For those looking for a more adventurous option, you can drive to Long Beach and take the ferry to Catalina Island, either for a day trip or an overnight stay. Have yourself a Catalina Wine Mixer.

Finally, another fun option for an extended visit is to check out the San Diego area, approximately 90 miles south of the venue. Coronado Island is particularly fun place to check out.
