We ask that you RSVP by January 31st, 2025. Thank you!
Modest formal attire. Corpus Christi Chapel does have a dress code, and it goes as follows: Out of respect for Our Lord Jesus Christ Who lives in the tabernacle of this Church day and night, and to assist your fellow worshippers in “fighting the good fight” for the difficult virtue of Holy Purity, we ask that you enter the Church dressed modestly and in a manner fitting for the House of God. Please: • Shoulders and upper arms should be covered (men and women) • Necklines should be modest (The last guidelines published by the Vatican stated that necklines should not be cut lower than a 2-finger width below the pit of the throat) • Skirts should fall below the knee when seated • Clothes should not be “tight-fitting” or transparent • Shorts or tank tops are never appropriate in Church • Backs may not be low cut
Out of reverence for the Catholic Mass, we ask that all phones be completely silenced and put away. A professional photographer has special permission to capture all the important moments of our ceremony and we will be happy to share those photos with you!
Please arrive at Corpus Christi by 3:15pm.
It is approximately a 45-minute drive. You will have about 1 hour to drive to the reception after the ceremony is over. The reception begins at 6pm with a cocktail hour.
The closest airport to Ave Maria is Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), about a 1 hour drive. If that does not work, there is Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL), and it is about a 2 hour drive.
