We're Getting Married!

Our love story began in 2014, never ending only growing stronger. True high school sweethearts! It all started in Dr. Hilson’s class at Portsmouth High School. Assigned seats had us sitting across from each other, and while we were just strangers at first, that quickly changed. With a little encouragement from our best friends (who were also in the class), we started talking—and never really stopped. Our first date was at Breaking New Grounds, the beloved coffee shop in our hometown. It’s no longer there, but it holds a special place in our hearts. That was back in 2014, and from that day on, we've been growing together ever since. College took us to different cities—Lucas to Quinnipiac and Lexi to MCPHS in Boston—but we stayed close, visiting each other, meeting each other’s friends, and exploring our new homes together. Our time was filled with beach drives, trying new restaurants, and weekend trips all around New England. In 2022, we moved in together for the first time in Brooklyn, NY, into the most charming little brownstone. We made it our home, built lasting friendships, and made memories that we'll always treasure. Our love of travel grew during this time too, with new adventures always around the corner. Then, in June of 2024, Lucas planned the most magical proposal back home in Portsmouth. On the beach—where so many of our favorite memories were made—he surrounded the spot with flowers and photos of us. Friends and family were waiting nearby to celebrate, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. This summer, we moved to Boston to be a little closer to home and to continue this exciting new chapter in our lives. We have so many wonderful friends and family who have supported us along our relationship and we cannot wait to celebrate this journey with you all!
