Where do I park for the Ceremony?

Answer

If you are driving to the ceremony we encourage you to park at Karpen Steel Custom Doors & Frames Parking lot at: 181 Reems Creek Rd, Weaverville NC 28787. We will have someone driving a 15 person van that will be shuttling between 35 Forest Knoll Drive Weaverville NC 28787 (Ceremony Location) and the Karpen Steel parking lot every few minutes between 3:45 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please arrive before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday September 20th as that will be the last shuttle to the ceremony. We are encouraging all of our out of town guests that are staying near downtown Asheville to use Uber for our ceremony in Weaverville NC: 17 minutes ( 9-10 miles away). We will not be able to park any cars at the ceremony location for wedding guests only wedding vendors. Please plan accordingly :)

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask all our our guest to wear the best all-black cocktail attire for the celebration. It creates the timeless, elegant vibe we are dreaming of. While the main color should be black, feel free to add subtle accents in natural beiges or soft shades of green For women, cocktail attire examples: - A black midi or knee length dress - A black maxi dress - Stylish black jumpsuit - Elegant black separates, like a silky blouse with skirt or tailored pants - Delicate touches of beige or green in shoes, jewelry, or purses For men, cocktail attire examples: - A black suit with a black or white shirt - Black dress pants with a black blazer or black sport coat - Optional tie or bow tie - Accent of beige or green in ties, pocket squares, or socks - Or keep it all black everything

Will there be drinks?

Answer

At our ceremony location we will have a small selection of complimentary wine & beer. At our reception we will have a limited open bar serving wine, beer, champagne, and espresso martinis. The bar is limited so bring cash just in case for a late night :) We will also have non alcoholics beverages served at both locations.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will have a beautiful grazing table and several hors d'oeuvres at the reception starting at 7:00 p.m. but guest can arrive as early as 6:30 p.m. at Circa 29.

Will my dietary needs be accommodated?

Absolutely, When you RSVP on our wedding website you can include any dietary restrictions.

Where do I park for the Reception?

Answer

Our reception is downtown Asheville inside the S&W building in the downstairs event space called Circa 29. We will have a limited amount of parking available in a nearby parking lot. To be announced soon. If you are an out of town guest staying downtown Asheville I would suggest using Uber to go to the Ceremony and back to the Reception so you can avoid parking. If you are local to the area you can park anywhere available downtown like the parking decks on Coxe/Sears Alley or Rankin Avenue which are both 3 minute walks to the Reception. What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 20th 2025. You can RSVP on our wedding website and please include dietary restrictions you have.

Are Children Invited ?

Answer

Yes, we want a celebration for all generations. We are delighted to welcome guests of all ages to our wedding. Children are warmly invited to join in the celebration.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We've thoughtfully planned our guest list to include families, couples, and a plus one for any guests attending solo. If your invitation is addressed just to you, feel free to bring a guest. We would love for you have someone to celebrate with! Just make sure when you RSVP you add your plus one to it so we can plan accordingly.

Where do I stay for the wedding weekend?

Answer

I would plan to stay at a hotel near Downtown Asheville closer to our wedding reception location. Our wedding ceremony will be in Weaverville NC about 17 minutes away from the reception. On our Travel tab on our wedding website, you will find both of our hotel blocks that you can reserve a room at a discounted fee. We have a hotel block at the Embassy Suites and Double Tree by Hilton Downtown Asheville but you are more than welcome to stay anywhere you like. Both hotels have a deadline of August 20th 2025. The sooner you can book the better :) If you decide to use Airbnb or VRBO I would suggest staying anywhere between Weaverville NC, Woodfin NC, or near Downtown Asheville.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be outdoors in my grandparents yard in Weaverville NC between 4pm and 6:15pm. Our wedding reception will be indoors at the S & W building downtown Asheville at Circa 29 from 7pm to 11pm.
