Jessie: I randomly went to a "Small satellite design club" meeting at UF in my second year of college. They had a top leader from NASA there talking about the "DebriSat" research project taking place at UF and was asking for volunteers to help research. I still didn't really know what it entailed but I left my contact info. I was later contacted, interviewed, and hired for an undergraduate research assistant position with DebriSat. It was through this research project that I started seeing Lucas at meetings and work shifts. NASA set up an event for the DebriSat team to road trip from Gainesville, FL to Houston, TX to tour NASA Johnson Space Center - specifically the Orbital Debris Program Office (ODPO). It was during this trip that I had decided to try and get to know Lucas better. To my dismay Lucas and Evan were an impenetrable duo! I joined another satellite design club, CHOMPTT (which is in space now!), and - after a meeting lead by Lucas, I chatted with him on his walk to Starbucks, waited in line with him, and didn't make an order.
