Where will the ceremony and reception take place at?

Both will take place at The Opal Oak Summit. 210 Blake Road, Oakdale, TN 37829

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Outdoor! The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be a indoor/outdoor setting.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue NO later than 30 minutes (by 4:30p.m.) before the ceremony. This will allow time for you to park and find your seat.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a semi-formal dress code for the evening. Wear whatever color you would like, but please no white. Women can wear floor length or tea length dresses and men can wear a suit/dressy khakis with a tie or no tie. Please keep in mind that the wedding is indoor/outdoor, weather permitting of course.

Can I bring my kid(s) or a plus one?

When you enter your name on the RSVP page, you will see any additional children or guests we've included on your invitation.

When should I R.S.V.P?

Answer

Formal invites will be sent out in February. Please RSVP as soon as you know the status of your attendance, no later than April 1st, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by then, we will unfortunately have to mark you as "not attending". This is because we need to provide the venue and caterer with a total guest count in a timely manner, and we hope that you understand.

Can I take pictures or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that phones be silenced and put away. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best moments. Feel free to take as many photos/videos as you want after the ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please drink on us! However, as much as we love a party, please keep your own limits in mind during the reception.

What will be served at the reception dinner?

Answer

Strawberry Pecan Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, Bowtie Pasta with Alfredo and Chicken or Bowtie Pasta with Marinara and Meatballs, Yeast Rolls. Lemonade, tea, water to drink.
