Matron of Honor
Whitney is Chelsey's older sister who lives outside NYC with her husband Matt. Chelsey has always admired Whitney for her drive and sense of adventure. While Chelsey was in middle and high school, she always compared her grades to Whitney's as a goal to be at least as smart as she was because she was super smart and successful. This competition helped Chelsey to get great grades for college. Although Chelsey and Whitney have careers in different areas, as adults, Chelsey now looks to Whitney for style and travel advice, as Whitney is always on the go in her busy life balancing her friends, family, and career. Chelsey feels very fortunate to have such a role model in her older sister and to have her by her side on her wedding day.
Best Man
Cameron is Lucas' older and only brother. Although Cameron is shorter than Lucas, Lucas has always looked up to him. Cam is a pillar of support in Lucas' life and has always been there for him even when Lucas was an annoying child. Their mutual love for sports helps their bond grow more and more every day, whether its complaining about a tough loss or talking about the latest blowout performance. Lucas has learned so much from Cam over the years and continues to learn as he follows in his brother's footsteps into the Solar Industry. Lucas couldn't possibly ask for a better brother to be standing next to him on his wedding day.
Maid of Honor
Jessica is Chelsey's second oldest sister who now lives in San Diego. As young kids they had quite the sibling rivalry, but while in high school and at UMass together, Chelsey valued having her close by and in her life for guidance and support. Jessica is super fun and can always bring out a smile or laugh from Chelsey. Chelsey thrilled to have her as a co-maid of honor on her special day.
Best Man
Matthew and Lucas have been best friends since they met in preschool at just 3 years old. Their friendship has grown stronger and stronger through time. Out of high school they started a landscape company together and ran that for many years. Life pulled them to different parts of the state but they have remained just as close if not closer. Lucas owes a lot to Matthew and views him as another brother. Without Matt to help guide and push him, Lucas doesn't know where his life would have taken him. He is honored to have him be a co-best man in his wedding and cannot wait to party it up with his best friend on his special day.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is Chelsey and Lucas's friend who introduced them to each other on Cape Cod where Sarah is from and where Chelsey's parents now live. Chelsey and Sarah became very close at UMass in the Animal Science major in a beef cattle management class where they bonded over their love for veterinary science and farm animals. While Chelsey was in veterinary school at Tufts and Sarah was in veterinary school in Missouri, they stayed close and supported each other. Now Sarah is a veterinarian in Kentucky, and Chelsey is thrilled to have her home in Massachusetts for her wedding.
Groomsman
Dan is one of those special friends that you come across only a few times in your life. Lucas and Dan's personalities are so alike that there is never a dull moment when the two get to hangout. Their friendship started over video games and catching frogs in the bog out behind Dan's house when they were younger. It really started to flourish in the later years of high school and has continued to grow even though they now live in different states. (Come back to Mass Dan). Lucas couldn't ask for a better guy to be part of his special day.
Bridesmaid
Abby is Chelsey's dear friend from Tufts veterinary school, however they first met working at the UMass horse farm together. They endured veterinary school together and were officers of the student equine veterinary club at school. Chelsey feels extremely fortunate to still live close to Abby and spend time with her regularly in central western MA. Chelsey was a bridesmaid in Abby and her husband Tyler's wedding in 2018 and is thrilled to have her by her side now in June 2022.
Groomsman
Lucky for Lucas, he wasn't the only one suffering while his significant other was attending veterinary school. Tyler's wife Abby was in the same class as Chelsey at Tufts where the two of them soon became best friends. Even though their interactions were forced at first (because the two girls are inseparable), Lucas could feel an instant bond between Tyler that has grown exponentially over the short time they have known each other. They share a love for breweries and craft beer, as well as good BBQ and the outdoors. Lucas admires Tyler's devotion to his job as a Worcester Fire Fighter and is proud to have such an honorable man beside him on his wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Marie is Chelsey's close cousin who she views like a little sister. Growing up, Chelsey and Marie saw each other every Sunday for family dinners at their Nanna and Poppy's house, where they got to play with each other all the time. They were always very close growing up, and Chelsey was honored to be Marie's sponsor for her Catholic Confirmation. They continue to be close when they see each other at their family's annual Fourth of July reunions and Christmas Eve dinners. Marie is always full of fun and laughter, and Chelsey can't wait to have her by her side on her wedding day.
Groomsman
Kevin and Lucas' history goes way back to Elementary school. He is another one of those special friends that you don't get a lot of in your life. They would spend countless hours hanging out in the swamp behind Kevin's house, or just being kids smashing berries into a tree hole in Lucas' backyard (inside joke Kevin will get the reference). Kevin and Lucas love to fish and play video games together. Even though they live a couple hours apart they are still lucky enough to find the time to visit each other. Kevin is one of the smartest people that Lucas knows and is thrilled to have him standing up there with him on his big day.
Bridesmaid
Tess is Chelsey's close friend that she met while horse back riding in high school. Chelsey admires Tess for her ambition, passion for medicine, and hard work. They initially bonded over their AP US History courses and love for horses. They both went to UMass and were even roommates for a year, which strengthened their friendship considerably. While Chelsey was pursuing her veterinary medical career, Tess was diligently pursuing her doctorate of medicine just 20 minutes away, which allowed them to stay close. Their friendship has been a constant for the last 10 years and Chelsey can't wait to not only have Tess by her side on her wedding day, but to be in Tess's wedding the week before hand!
Groomsman
Wrestling was a very large part of Lucas' life, and Jeff is the best thing to ever come from it. Lucas and Jeff's friendship started shortly after Jeff joined the high school wrestling team. They were in similar weight categories so they spent a lot of time practicing together and started growing a tight bond (even tighter than the spandex they wore during matches). Over a couple of years their friendship spread outside of wrestling and they always enjoyed hanging out and spending time together. Lucas was lucky enough to have the honor of being in Jeff and his wife Shannon's wedding and is glad Jeff is returning the favor to stand up there with Lucas on June 10th.
Bridesmaid
Mackenzie is Lucas' younger and only sister. She is one of the strongest women he knows. She is the smartest of Lucas' siblings (sorry Cam but you know its true), and she is also the best little sister ever. Mackenzie is extremely smart and determined and Lucas can only hope to be as successful as he knows Mackenzie will inevitably be. Mackenzie can hold her own talkin' sports or even just trash talkin' with her brothers, however she is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She cares for everyone and also gifts the best presents out of anyone in the family (don't worry Mack I will send my Christmas list soon). Lucas is lucky Mackenzie loves Chelsey as much as she does and looks forward to her being a part of their wedding day.
Groomsman
Lucas' stint in College was very short-lived. Lucky for Lucas he stumbled across Leo in the only class he seemed to enjoy, Astronomy. Lucas and Leo quickly bonded over their hatred for their classmate Barret and his stupid Toyota Yaris (no offense to any potential Yaris owners reading this). Lucas was drawn to Leo over his love and knowledge of classic cars. They would spend time in his garage working on his cars, Lucas mostly handing Leo whatever tool he needed. Lucas found Leo's friendship and home to be a safe and fun space. Leo's awesome dad Spencer and lovely mother Carla, always made Lucas feel wanted and welcome in their home. Leo now lives across the country, and Lucas feels blessed to have a friend committed to traveling so far to be with him on his wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey is Chelsey's oldest childhood friend that she met while on the side lines at their older sisters' soccer games. They became even closer in chorus classes together starting in middle school all the way through high school, ending senior year with a victorious gold at MICCA (if you know, you know). Chelsey now feels lucky to still live close to Lindsey and her husband in Worcester to regularly spend time with her. Chelsey feels extremely honored to have Lindsey by her side on her wedding day just a few months after Lindsey and her husband are expecting their baby boy.
Groomsman
Lucas was lucky enough to have a last name alphabetically close to Chris'. They met freshman year of high school in homeroom where they terrorized the classroom in the short time before the bell rang. Chris is responsible for facilitating bonds between Lucas and some of his other close friends. Lucas is forever thankful for having Chris in his life. They spent many Summer nights at Chris' house where their friendships grew stronger. Lucas admires Chris' intelligence and drive in his work industry and can see a direct correlation to how great of a husband he is for his wife Sarah. Lucas will forever value Chris' friendship and knows he is one of the most reliable friends he could ever ask for. Lucas looks forward to spending the day with Chris while he celebrates his wedding this June.
Officiant
Chelsey and Lucas' dear friend that they met while they lived in Grafton, Nick is the life of any party! Nick first met Chelsey in veterinary school, and they soon became close friends. That friendship brought Nick and Lucas together, and they bonded over just about everything. The three of them love to go to breweries together or even have just a plain old wine night that never seems to be just plain and old. Chelsey feels lucky to have had Nick as a support system, especially after surviving vet school together. Lucas, too, feels lucky to have met such a spectacular person. Nick is such a loving and fun friend, and Chelsey and Lucas feel extremely honored he said yes to marrying them on their special day.
