Dublin Airport (DUB)
Most flights are overnight (except for those flying out from the East Coast) so at the latest we would suggest flying to Dublin on Sunday (June 16th) and arriving in Dublin Monday morning (June 17th) You may want to consider flying out Saturday (June 15th) as that flight will arrive Sunday morning (June 16th) and it gives you time to settle into Dublin and explore the city As discussed, we will have a shuttle that will leave at 1:00 pm on June 17th from Dublin to the venue so if you are not landed it will leave without you
All accommodations are on the property, and we will send out a list with room selections closer to the date. Rooms range from $150-400 total for the two nights on the property. You do not need to contact the venue for accommodations.
Check-in at the venue will begin at 3:00 PM on June 17th at the Claoughjordan House. We will have a shuttle leaving from Dublin at 1:00pm that takes ~1.5 hours to reach the venue. Checkout is at 10:00am on June 19th, 2024
We will provide a shuttle from Dublin to the Venue on June 17th at 1:00 PM and transportation back to Dublin at 10:00 AM on June 19th, 2024. You can also rent a car at the airport, but please keep in mind they drive on the opposite side of the road and the cars are mostly manual transmission
Kids are welcome to come to the wedding for the ceremony and the reception. We ask that parents organize a babysitter through the venue during the dinner for all kids under 14 years of age. The venue has certified childcare and we will provide the contact information
The rehearsal dinner will be at 6:00 PM on June 17th, 2024
While everything you need will be onsite through the duration of the wedding, the village the venue is in is a quaint Irish town with a few pub's, cafe's and small markets within walking distance of the venue.
We would suggest getting your passport no later than February of 2024. These tend to take 3-6 months to process. You can find information at the link below https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport.html
Whenever we have flown to Ireland we have always booked directly through Air France. However, depending on where you are located will determine the best flight.
Food will be provided during the entire stay at the venue. There are also several pubs and cafe's in the town that you can walk to. There will be food options for kids and babies available on request. If you need room to store baby food / formula, this can be coordinated with the venue
We will have a block of rooms at the Temple Bar Hotel in Dublin for Saturday and Sunday night. However, should you wish to stay elsewhere, that is totally fine we would recommend staying around the Temple Bar area
The venue accepts all major credit cards except for American Express. Most of Europe will not accept an AMEX card
