Aerial Lift Bridge
Walk the Lakewalk, watch freighters go through, visit shops, grab a bite with lake views. This is kind of Duluth’s “must-see”. Check out Grandma's Saloon and Grill if you get hungry!

Enger Park
A relatively short climb / walk with a rewarding 360° view of Duluth and the lake.
Split Rock Lighthouse
A classic lighthouse visit up the shore. Can combine with hikes and shoreline views. We recommend stopping by Betty's Pies for a famous slice of pie as well!
Congdon Park Drive
Located along Tischer Creek in the neighborhood that is named for it, Congdon Park features some of the most pristine hiking trails in Duluth, including beautiful bridges and stunning waterfalls.
Oberg Mountain Trail Head
Beautiful woods featuring a trail atop a bluff overlooking Lake Superior, plus Oberg Lake.
Gooseberry Falls State Park
This Minnesota State Park truly highlights everything that makes the North Shore special.
North Shore Drive
Drive up MN-61 / along the North Shore; stop at state parks, waterfalls, lakeshore overlooks.
Lutsen Gondola and Alpine Slide
You won't find a better vantage point to view the Sawtooth Mountains and Lake Superior's dramatic coastline than from the top of Moose Mountain and our observations decks & Summit Chalet. Make sure to get tickets for the Alpine Slide too!
