If you are coming from Seattle, the ferry departures are 2:10 pm, 3:05 pm, and 3:50 pm. The ride is 35 minutes, but it always tends to be running late. You can use vessel watch to stay up to date on where the ferries are: https://wsdot.com/ferries/vesselwatch/. If you are driving on, we highly suggest you take/queue for an earlier ferry. The ceremony will promptly start at 5 pm.

Yes! There is limited on-site parking available at the venue for the duration of the wedding. Other parking will be found nearby in community lots. Due to limited space, please try to carpool if possible. Additionally, if staying in Seattle, the venue is a walkable distance from the ferry!
We are asking for an unplugged wedding ceremony. We love all of our guests and wish for them to be present with us during the ceremony, our wonderful photographer will capture those special moments for us. However, you are more than welcome to take photos or videos at the reception! An app that makes your phone act as a disposable camera will be available, helping us remember the fun we had during our celebration.
Our wedding will be a personalized celebration of our love, focusing on our commitment to one another and our future life, without religious affiliation. Written vows will be read privately in the morning and not be read at the ceremony.
We’d love to see our friends and family dress up with us! We want you to be comfortable and feel good in your clothing. This can include anything from more semi-formal/formal to cocktail outfits. However, please no shorts, jeans, t-shirts, or flip flops. Also, consider layers since the wedding will have indoor and outdoor components.
Yes! The ceremony and reception will be held at The Stan Pocock Rowing Center in downtown Bainbridge Island.
Please be considerate of the fact that we do have a maximum capacity limit at our venue. We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one it will appear on your invite.
We are asking that guests refrain from bringing kids unless otherwise stated on the invitation/RSVP. We are hoping this is a much-deserved night off for the parents!
There are partial coverings at the venue. The ceremony will take place on an uncovered, grass lawn and the reception will take place inside the center. Please dress accordingly for walking/standing on grass. You may also want to bring a light jacket for later evening.
We chose a local caterer, Miguelito’s Grill & Cantina, who will provide a beautiful taco bar (with chicken, veggies, and beans) that should accommodate a majority of the common food restrictions. A bartender will be on-site to provide beer (Rainier), wine (table white/red), seltzers (both nonalcoholic and alcoholic), and homemade margaritas.
We blocked rooms for our guests at the Marshall Suites, Island Country Inn, and Eagle Harbor Inn. Please look under the “travel” section of our website for more details regarding the dates for access to the hotel blocks. There are also many other options for lodging in the area if you prefer to stay elsewhere (in Seattle or Poulsbo - hotel/Vrbo/Airbnb).
