Our Story
It all started in August 2021 when Jill secretly took a video of Lucas in the bookstore to show her friends the cute freshman she’d spotted. Little did she know, Lucas went home that same day and told his roommate about the girl in the bookstore. Two weeks later, they ran into each other at a late-night drink and exchanged contacts. The very next night, Jill went to Lucas’s dorm to hang out—though Lucas was convinced she didn’t like him. After spending more time together with friends, they quickly realized it was so much more than friendship and started dating just ten days after they met. Since then, they’ve done short stints of long distance, lived together, and have been inseparable ever since. On May 17th, 2025, Lucas proposed on the lake, and Jill said yes without hesitation.
