It’s Happening!

Luke and Hailey met at Six Flags, St.Louis Hurricane Harbor. Luke was a supervisor and he was doing testing one day for the lifeguards. Hailey was sitting in lost parents for her rotation. Luke came up to Hailey and told her he had a bee sting and asked what Hailey was going to do. Little did Hailey know this was a way for him to get her first name and last name so Luke could look Hailey up and message her later. Luke and Hailey started talking the next day and they were shocked to find out that we were going to the same college as freshmen. Luke and Hailey decided to go out on a date and started dating on July 10th, 2017. Luke and Hailey have been together for 4 years. They cannot wait to start this new journey together as a married couple and see where life takes them.

Luke and Haileys' first Christmas together they went to Garden Glow at the Missouri Botanical Gardens to see the lights. Hailey and Luke got one of Luke's favorite pictures together there. Luke thought it would be very sentimental to propose at the Botanical Gardens during the Christmas lights to try and recreate that picture. Lukes parents were able to scope out the lights beforehand and find a similar archway with lights, so Luke was set on proposing there. The day came and Luke was extremely nervous, to the point that he forgot the plan on how we were going to get to the spot for the proposal since it was a one-way walking path and the archway was at the end and we were running out of daylight. Then he remembered the plan and his palms started to sweat a little bit. Hailey and Luke were ready for the picture, but he never really knew when Cailyn was ready with her phone to record it so there was a little delay. That is when Luke asked Hailey to marry him and Luke could not be more excited to spend the rest of his life with her.
