To accommodate the Church’s schedule, the ceremony will wrap around 2:45 PM, with cocktail hour starting at 5:00 PM, leaving you a little time to enjoy Charleston at your own pace. A few easy ideas nearby: Take a walk South of Broad or Colonial Lake - both are within walking distance of the Church Grab a coffee or sweet treat at Sorelle Stop for a drink at The Dewberry Living Room or Rooftop Bar, The Citrus Club Head back to your hotel to relax or freshen up before the evening
Welcome Party - Cocktail Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or a skirt and blouse - whatever feels right. For men, no need for ties or tuxedos; a suit, jacket, or button-down is perfect. Ceremony & Reception - Formal Long dresses for women, and a suit for men.
All invited guests will be listed on the formal invitation. If your invitation is addressed to “you and guest,” you are welcome to bring a date. Due to occupancy limitations, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests beyond those listed. We look forward to celebrating with you!
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about a 20-minute ride from downtown. The Dewberry Hotel is centrally located, so transportation will be departing from there - however, please stay wherever is most convenient for you. :)
