Question

"Summer Festive" -- What is that??

Answer

We totally get it, "Summer Festive" might sound a bit vague and confusing (credit to Lu obvs.), but fear not! Let us break it down for you... When we say "Summer Festive" attire, we mean summery cocktail attire that is colorful, creative, playful, and fun, but still polished and dressed up. For the ladies, think light fabrics, flowy dresses, floral prints, and bold accessories. For the gents, we suggest wearing lightweight suits, or dress pants paired with a dress shirt and a colorful tie or fun pocket square. This is your chance to show off your personal style and have some fun with your outfit, while still looking elegant and put together. And don't worry, "Summer Festive" is definitely not code for "wear a Hawaiian shirt and flip flops" - unless you're going for that look, of course! So, go ahead and embrace the summer vibes, and let's celebrate in style.

Question

Kids?

Answer

We love 'em (in small doses), but our wedding is going to be an adults-only affair. We want everyone to have a night off from the responsibilities of parenting, so you can let your hair down and dance like nobody's watching (except for maybe our photographer). We hope you'll understand and come ready to party with us, sans kiddos.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Aim for 6:00pm. The ceremony starts promptly at 6:30pm. Don't forget, it's a Friday evening in NYC, which means lots of traffic and hustle and bustle. It'll take a while to find parking too (if you plan to drive). Remember, the longer we wait, the later the open bar will start! So, to avoid any stress or anxiety, let's not be fashionably late. And if you do happen to arrive early, feel free to mingle, grab a drink, sign the guest book, and find a seat. We can't wait to see you there!

Question

hotel recs?

Answer

While Wythe would be the easiest option, they have a two-night minimum requirement. The Hoxton hotel is conveniently located a block away, with slightly cheaper rate and no two-night minimum requirement. That's probably the best bet for most of you looking for accommodation for the night. Check out the "Hotel" section for discount codes and room block links. Book early before rates go up more!
