Our story couldn't be any more cliché; we met at a pre-medical club at UC Berkeley in 2014 during Angela's sophomore year and Tony's junior year. Our first date was in the summer of 2015 at a San Francisco Exploratorium's After Dark Event, which ended with a stroll through San Francisco's Pier 39. Since the beginning, we were polar opposites, but somehow the differences balanced us out to make a complete whole. Although we only dated for a short period of time, we decided that we wanted to continue our relationship as Tony prepared to head to medical school at USC. During this time, Angela completed her senior year, worked in biotech for 2 years, and began medical school at UCSF. While we dated long distance for several years, we made every attempt to meet up during holidays, after school exams, and on vacations. We had some of our most memorable and precious moments with each other during this time, including exploring the LA and SF food scenes and taking trips to Hawaii, Cancun, and Toronto. After living together for many months during the early COVID pandemic (and finding each other tolerable), Tony proposed to Angela on December 22, 2020, where we ended our first date. We have been enjoying our engagement for over two years and are truly excited to tie the knot with our loved ones on May, 7th 2023! Update: We will be ending our long distance! Angela recently has matched at the Mayo Clinic for residency and will be joining Tony!
