What date should I RSVP by?

The last day to respond via mail or website will be on October 19, 2024. We make sure to communicate with those who have not responded by then.

What is the address of the venue? Is it wheelchair accessible?

Answer

1991 Sheridan Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035. The Community House is located on the corner of Sheridan and Elm. Yes, it is wheelchair accessible.

Is there parking available near the Venue?

Answer

Parking may be found in the east lot (behind Community House) and ample street parking is available in the area surrounding the venue as well.

Will the Ceremony and Reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Ceremony and Reception will both be indoors.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is Cocktail/Semi-Formal. Also, you are more than welcome to dress as part of the theme of 1920s/Art Deco.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

Dinner will be in Buffet Style. There will be variety of food available. Please let us know if you have any food or special dietary needs by October 19th.

Is there reserved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved blocks of rooms at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bannockburn-Deerfield. Please use the link on the Travel section of this website to make your reservations under the Kanter Wedding Block at a discount rate. Please make your reservations by Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Answer

With the exception of children of immediate family. We have decided to have our wedding be an adult-only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day!
