We couldn't wait until 2021 to get married, so we tied the knot in a private ceremony among the rocks with our immediate families present. We can't wait to write our own vows and continue to promise our love to each other and celebrate with all of you at our 2021 ceremony!

Michael and Lyssa met in July 2009 through a mutual friend (and MySpace!). It turned out that Michael had first noticed Lyssa earlier that summer but they didn't meet until a few weeks later. They started talking and Michael invited Lyssa over for his 21st birthday. As she sat on his kitchen countertop laughing, watching him try to make boxed Mac & Cheese without milk, she knew one day he'd be the man she married. Michael and Lyssa's friendship ebbed and flowed naturally over the following five years. Until one day they reconnected and it was finally the right place and the right time.
