We met and well, the rest is history as they say. Thankfully, 2 hours away from one another didn't stop us. From countless dates and many miles back and forth (119 to be exact) we knew we couldn't let the distance stop us anymore. Thomas very kindly asked me to move in with him after 6 months of dating and I (Carmen) graciously made the move from Monroe, MI to be with the love of my life, which I of course didn't know for sure at the time but had a very strong feeling. We've been inseparable since day one and were just waiting for the day it would be official. From having many fun trips together, adopting our very special dog Billy Bones, to learning so much about ourselves and one another. We knew we wouldn't be calling it quits, so naturally when our 3 year anniversary trip to Niagra happened I was not the least bit surprised when he got down on one knee. Now we can't wait to celebrate our love with the people we love the most!
