Although our love story begins in our young adult lives, our origin story embarked years before as two awkward teenagers... The year was 2012 at a party, circles of friends were mingling amongst themselves, when Tanner noticed Cristina. He contemplated saying something to her, as he always had seeing her around school. A "Hello" perhaps, or "Hey, how's it going?", his best friend Davis teased him about not going up to her, and told him if he didn't say something, he would. To Tanner's terror Davis calls out, "Hey Cristina! Tanner wants to tell you something." As she turned around and noticed the tallest guy she had ever seen, shock on his face and wonderment in his light blue eyes. She waited for him to make his proclamation, and ... the silence was deafening. He didn't peep a word, so Cristina said, "Uh, okay" and chuckled as she returned to her friends, unsure of what just happened.

We fast forward to twenty years old, Tanner and Cristina are living their young adult lives and discovering who they are in the world! The now confident Tanner happens to come across Cristina's Instagram profile and is reminded of his high school crush and the almost hello incident. He figures, what's he got to lose, he could definitely say something to her now. So, he slid into her DMs, and she was pleased to finally get a hello. Fast friends they became and less than a year later, many date nights over burritos and stars, Tanner asks her to be his girlfriend. Cristina says yes and their love story ignites on 2.16.2017.

Three years of off-road adventures, following each other in the night skies, twinkling lights and rave beats pumping their hearts. The endless summer nights of country songs and bonfires to light their memories for the years to come. The world then stopped; they cherished each other during the time when the world was full of chaos. In a blink, two years had gone by so fast (and at times slow). As the world picked up its pace again, they realized that they didn't want to spend any more time in this world a part. They would take on the world, together. On 6.13.2022, we decided to say Hello, finally, to our future in becoming the Lowens!
