Multnomah Falls
Parking can be crowded, but if you take the scenic highway 30 from PDX airport, you'll pass it without detouring from your route to Hood River. It's a great stop to enjoy the view without straying off course. There are trolley's available to take you to multiple waterfall stops along this scenic highway.

Right across our wedding venue visit this historic farm & winery with mountain views offering a beer & cider tasting room & gourmet eats. (Also try the red wine beef jerky here, so good!)

An assorted waterfront park area for families and all to gather. Drink, eat, play, surf, bowl. A nice walk and a beach. A heart and soul component to Hood River. Lots of brews and eats.

Panorama Point County Park
An easy drive-up viewpoint of the entire picturesque Hood River Valley, this small park is handicapped-accessible and provides parking, restrooms, and picnic tables, so the entire family can relax and soak in the panoramic views from Mt. Hood to Mt. Adams.
Cedar Creek Alpacas
A small alpaca farm located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in Cook, Washington. They offer free tours Wednesday thru Sunday 11 am to 5 pm, where you will meet their sweet alpacas, learn about them, possibly feed them a treat and then a visit to the boutique and fiber studio to see all of the lovely products that are created with their fiber. (You may lose service going up the hills, but look for the Blue Signs and it will lead you to the property)

Wahclella Falls
Super beautiful hike Anneka and I went on. About a 30 min drive from Hood River. Explore this 1.9-mile out-and-back trail near Cascade Locks, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 52 min to complete.
