Parking can be crowded, but if you take the scenic highway 30 from PDX airport, you'll pass it without detouring from your route to Hood River. It's a great stop to enjoy the view without straying off course. There are trolley's available to take you to multiple waterfall stops along this scenic highway.

A small alpaca farm located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge in Cook, Washington. They offer free tours Wednesday thru Sunday 11 am to 5 pm, where you will meet their sweet alpacas, learn about them, possibly feed them a treat and then a visit to the boutique and fiber studio to see all of the lovely products that are created with their fiber. (You may lose service going up the hills, but look for the Blue Signs and it will lead you to the property)
