Visit Joshua Tree National Park! Plenty of hiking (or driving!) options. Start at Scull Rock (picture above) and explore from there.
The desert is definitely an interesting place to explore. If hiking is not your thing there are plenty of quirky things to check out! Our personal favorites are Pappy and Harriets, RibCo, Pioneertown, The Cactus Mart, and the World Famous Crochet Museum. Be sure to check out all the cool second-hand and art stores located along the 29 Palms Highway!
