The first time Chris and Sarah met was in September 2014 at Yogurtland in Westwood, as part of a group outing with friends in their college Christian ministry. Chris was a sophomore and Sarah had just started her freshmen year. Later in the year, Chris slid into Sarah's Facebook private messages. They started to bond over their Angels-Dodgers team rivalry and would get lunch together at the dining hall. (Chris would invite other friends to these meals without telling Sarah so these hangouts wouldn't technically be classified as dates.) They went on their first official date on May 30, 2015 to a UCLA baseball game, a team they could both cheer for. During Finals Week of that quarter, they went on several more dates to Tsujita LA, a concert, and a Dodgers game (Chris dying to his own desires) and the rest is history...
