It all started with the classic "we met at a bar." Sydnie, Jamie's best friend and now Maid of Honor, introduced the happy couple. We went on our first date in Camden, which turned into a second date, and a series of small adventures that haven't stopped since. We discovered our uncannily similar senses of humor, nurtured each other's aspirations, and shared a desire to become the best individuals we could be—together. Through wonderful times, hard times, and some distance (one cross-country trip later), we realized just how much we meant to each other and how similar our hopes and dreams for life are. One of those dreams was visiting a country we both loved—Japan. That dream came true in October of 2024. In the traditional and enchanting streets of Kyoto, Luke proposed to Jamie and asked her to be his wife. So here we are—asking you all to join us in the biggest celebration we've ever had the chance to host. A celebration of our families, our friends, the life we have built, and the family we will build together as a married couple. We can't wait!
