Our Story

The Wedding Website of Kenzie Oswalt and Michael Leonides
What started as a meaningless tweet quickly turned into a whole lot of love... In early January, Kenzie found herself on Twitter tweeting a simple message: "All da derman shepards, but no german sheep?" Somehow, Michael came across this inquiry and it spoke to something deep within his soul. Compelled by Kenzie's cleverness, Michael replied to this tweet: "So woke." And the rest is history. Meeting in January 2020, Kenzie and Michael only had a few short months to get to know one another before COVID took over. When the two went back home to live with their families during the pandemic, they quickly found out they were a mere 10 minutes away from each other. They spent everyday during quarantine, sitting 6 feet apart and enjoying each other's company. Three years later, Kenzie and Michael continue to spend most of their time together except now... they're usually closer than 6 feet 😉
Michael re-proposed to Kenzie under the famous "Century Tree" because as an Aggie- it's mandatory.

Waking up at 3am to drive to a famous BBQ joint and hour and a half outside of College Station. It was worth it!
