Cameron and Emily first met each other during the beginning of their freshmen year. With his bow tie and sweater vest and her blonde hair and pencil skirt, Cameron and Emily remembered well of what each other looked like, but knew little of what God had in store. While they were good friends throughout college, it wasn't until the weeks leading up to their graduation that Cameron and Emily began to see each other in a different light. This "different light" all started on spring break of their senior year. On the last night of their trip, Emily joined Cameron on the balcony of the rented beach house and spent the next few hours talking and singing along while Cameron played his ukulele. After some time, their conversation turned to matters of life and love. Cameron mentioned that he was "interested" in a particular friend and asked Emily how he could "win her over." Little did Emily know that she was that particular friend in mind. Regardless, Emily said that Cameron should get to know the girl better by spending time with her, asking her questions, and so on. And that very next morning, Cameron took Emily's advice by devoting more time and attention to their friendship. In the weeks that followed, Cameron won Emily's heart over. After graduation, Cameron and Emily spent the summer visiting each other (going back and forth from South Carolina to Georgia) until Emily moved back to Greenville in the fall. They spent the next year growing their relationship, having adventures, making memories, and falling deeper in love. Till one wonderful autumn day when Cameron took Emily to one of their favorite fall spots, got down on one knee, and asked her if they could the rest of their lives together. She whole heartily agreed. In just two short weeks after they say "I do", Cameron and Emily will be moving to New York City to start their new life together. Some might call it crazy, but it is an adventure that they cannot wait to go on together.
