Emily and Nicholas wish they could say they met in one of those fairytale, organic ways. However, this pairs story began through a Hinge connection and immediately blossomed from there. After several days of text exchanges, the two agreed to meet for dinner at what would become one of their favorite restaurants, Texas Roadhouse! They sat at the bar and indulged in meaningful conversation and cinnamon buttered rolls. After dinner, their evening continued with a late night walk by the river. Emily and Nicholas had hit it off so well that they had a second date just two days later. It may seem cliche to say “the rest was history” but they knew they had found something special between each other despite the short amount of time!

Fast forward 10 months, Emily and Nicholas wanted to watch the sunrise at New Smyrna Beach. She was leaving for a big trip the next day and wanted to spend as much time with Nicholas as possible! Getting up before the sun, still half asleep, they planned to arrive just before sunrise. Emily and Nicholas love going to the beach and walking the shoreline. They found a nice spot to sit and watch the sun peek over the horizon. The took a few pictures and as Emily began to walk back, Nicholas grabbed her hand and dropped to one knee! He explained how much he loved her and how he was excited to start a life with her and asked if she would be his wife. Obviously Emily said yes!
