Meet our family and friends who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Arlyn

Bridesmaid

Erin's role model. Queen of the School of Data Science at the University of Virginia. Fellow hiking and fall enthusiast. Mama to the smiling-est baby girl. Kentucky girl through and through. The main reason Erin didn't starve or go crazy upon moving back to Charlottesville.

Danny

Groomsman

Danny and Josh bonded over a shared love for Radiohead, and a mutually nurtured love for Arcade Fire. Their friendship was fated to a continued existence when they became roommates for the second year of college. Scholars say that Danny and Josh are able to high-five with enough force to level small buildings, though none have been brave enough to investigate.

Devon

Bridesmaid

Teachers constantly confused Erin and Devon from 5th - 8th grade. Karaoke queen. Gorgeous curls. Low-key the smartest person in the room. The first thing Erin said to her in first grade was, "Your last name is my middle name."

Elijah

Groomsman

Elijah is a uniquely powerful younger sibling, so much so that Josh, his older brother, once sought out Elijah's help with beating a level in the PC version of Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets. It was the part where the Polyjuice Potion wears off and you have to sneak out of Slytherin without being caught. There are no tasks too daunting in Elijah's quest to be a supportive brother.

Emily

Bridesmaid

Erin's alma gemela. Recently back in the United States from a stint teaching English in South Korea. A wonderful listening ear, and the only reason Erin survived Sra. Black's Spanish class. Erin has fond memories of eating cookie dough flautas with her.

Jonah

Groomsman

Jonah is a brother and friend of such immense worth that Josh saw fit to permit Jonah to be the taller sibling. Jonah has always been a fine brother to Josh, and a source of entertaining and insightful conversation. Jonah has also proven to be a worthy adversary in the battlefield of Ping-Pong.

Kaley

Bridesmaid

Erin's favorite (only) sister. Mama to the cutest niece. Always the first person photographed with every phone Erin gets. Infinitely more fashionable than Erin. Always would handle the scary parts of Nancy Drew computer games. Disney enthusiast.

Josh

Groomsman

Josh and I met during a trip to Israel, which both Josh and Josh found to be enlightening, inspiring, and enriching. The trip lasted ten days, but I felt that in Josh I'd found a fantastic friend and a righteously cool dude. Hey, Josh, did you read this? If so, text me this code phrase: "The geese fly low over the ocean." Rad, thanks.

Kelly

Bridesmaid

Friend from grad school. Eloquent doctoral candidate who is currently living in Paris, France. Once braved a cross-country roadtrip with Erin and a stuffed hedgehog named, Orlando. Creator of the "Kelly Margarita."

Kyle

Groomsman

Josh and Kyle became friends in middle school, as members of the school band: Josh on mallet percussion, and Kyle on French Horn. Since then, Kyle and Josh have faced the hardships of marching band, science club competitions, and high school together, or, at a minimum, adjacent to one another. Josh and Kyle's friendship has endured for years, and the attached photo shows them back when it all began.

Keri

Bridesmaid

Erin's oldest friend. Cat mom. Erin potentially spent more time at Keri's house growing up than her own. Voted "wittiest" in middle school, and still deserves that title. Amazing secret-keeper. A beautiful person inside and out.

Steve

Groomsman

Steve is, to me, a man of many hats. A friend, a former roommate, a pledge brother, and a one-time bandmate in a white-boy blues band. To carry so many hats requires a head, neck, and shoulders of profound strength, and Steve is a mighty man. I also got to once see him play saxophone on stage, but I wasn't sure if he needed a saxophonist hat since he already has a saxophonist saxophone, but maybe he has a saxophonist visor, you know? Like those visors that guys in Vegas casinos wear while they're dealing out cards. Anyway, Steve is a really cool guy. I'm fortunate to have him as my friend. You should hang out with him, should the opportunity arise.
