Thank you for taking time to visit our website! Here you can find important details including our special day timeline, information on lodging, our registry, and a place to RSVP. We are so thrilled and can't wait for September to finally come!
In light of the current pandemic, our wedding guest list has been drastically shortened. With that said, for anyone who feels like they will not be able to attend our wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can fill your spot with another loved one! Planning a wedding during a pandemic is no joke! With the rules and regulations constantly changing, we are giving our guests a heads up that at any given time we may have to cut our guest list even shorter to accommodate to Washington's Covid-19 guidelines. We appreciate your patience and understanding through this time. We will be supportive of all Covid-19 guidelines come our event in September. To anyone who feels it may not be in their best interest to attend our wedding, we understand and fully support your health decisions. We love you and want us all to be safe and healthy.
Our love story didn't exactly start out smelling like roses, in fact we met back in 2016 at a local doggie daycare. After months of building up courage, Curtis asked Mollie out on their first date to no other than Curtis's favorite place- the movie theatre. And like any fine gentleman, he took Mollie to the fanciest dinner he could think of... McDonald's. From the beginning of our dating stages, we have always been a very laid back and easy going couple. We're the kind of people to be in bed by 9pm on a Friday night cuddled up with our fur-babies. We have always known that our love was simple, yet special. We knew that this could really be the kind of love that lasts forever. It is crazy to think we spent all of our lives just a skipping stone a part in sister towns. Curtis a Longview Monarch and Mollie a Kelso Highlander. Graduating just a year apart, it often baffles us we never knew of each other at a younger age. We grew up in very similar households surrounded by loving families who raised us up into the people we are today. We grew up with a wonderful foundation of good morals and core values that have made us extremely well rounded and family oriented people. We have spent our relationship filled with countless laughs, smiles, and memories. We are so blessed to have blended the two of our families... we couldn't be more excited to be really doing the dang thing! Here's to the future Kings!
What screams more romantic than fireworks, hot dogs, and the Fourth of July? Well in our case, the Fourth of July is now not only one of our favorite holidays, but a date that forever represents the start of our FOREVER. Curtis proposed on 7/4/20 surrounded by our most valued family members at one of the Kissinger's family Fourth of July parties. We were so honored and blessed to have that day shared with both of our families, and the start of the Future Mr. & Mrs. KING!
We have been blessed beyond measure with two incredible jobs, a wonderful family, and a new home filled with four (fur)babies. Everyday life consists of Curtis delivering packages, Mollie nursing the ill, spending time watching movies at every chance we can, and loving our pets to pieces! Our first dog fur baby "Maggie" came to us where this whole thing started, at the doggie daycare we met at. Our three kitty fur babies came into the picture when we bought our first home. "Phoebe" was Curtis's kitty (even though he swore he would never like cats) and Mollie brought to the family "Winnie" and "Betty". It is an everyday struggle for Curtis to keep Mollie from bringing home more furry additions to the family. Mollie spends a lot of the time decorating (and redecorating) the house, and Curtis is always a good sport with his power drill and hammer close by.
