Shawn and Alexandra were introduced by mutual friends in 2016.  Both being active members of their fraternity and sorority, they got to hang out at tailgates, socials, and other fun events during their time in college. They both admit they were completely unaware that this friendship would lead to a once in a lifetime relationship. Fast forward three years, one UCF national championship, and several questionable fashion trends later, their friendship started to blossom into something more. On October 11th, 2019, they went on their first date. Shawn pulled out what he calls “my only move”, which consisted of taking Alexandra on a cruise in his cherished 67 Mustang to his favorite Oceanside restaurant. That Hail Mary seems to have worked and they’ve been cruising together ever since. The global pandemic tested their relationship early.  The understanding, compassion, and resolution that they cultivated in that time became the foundation for a truly fulfilling partnership. They’ve been lucky to share countless happy memories together, including weekends spent with family, trips with their close group of friends, and raising their beloved dog Fenway.   Today, they are so excited to be looking forward to October 11th, 2025, six years to the day from their first date, to become husband and wife.  They are blessed and grateful not just to celebrate this day together, but with their family, friends, and all the people who have been a part of their journey. They can’t wait to share a day of love and gratitude with everyone.
