Please know you are welcome to stay at any of the other amazing resort properties at Walt Disney World (or an AirBnb, nearby hotel, etc)- we get it! It was SO hard to narrow down our choices to AKL and ASM. Wedding guests will only receive our special pricing when booking at AKL or ASM, but that doesn't mean there isn't a dream deal out there made for your trip! **If you are staying outside of AKL or ASM, please plan to be at either one of those properties on Saturday morning. A shuttle will be taking all guests to the park for the ceremony and personal transportation is not allowed in that area. Cars can be left in the parking lot of AKL/ASM. Shuttle leaves at 6am at All Star Music, and 6:15am at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

RideShare Services from Airport to WDW Resorts

Both Uber and Lyft are options for getting to your resort quickly after landing in Orlando. Our research says that a standard Uber from the airport to Disney World will cost you roughly $35. This can jump to above $40 if you request a special type of vehicle. For a family of 4 or 5, your best bet may be an UberXL, which will cost you just over $50 between the airport and most of Disney’s resort hotels. The fancier Uber Black option will run you just over $90 per trip.

Shuttle Service from Airport to WDW Resorts

Mears Connect Standard Service, One-Way: $17.60 (including airport fees) per adult. $14.30 per child ages 3-9. Standard Service, Round-Trip: $33.60 per adult. $27.30 per child. Express Service, Round Trip: $250.00 for up to 4 passengers. $55.00 per additional passenger. *Please note that shuttle buses for the Standard Service will make more than one stop. If you are looking for expedited service to and from the resort, you can book the Express Service.

Turo has come in clutch for us several times in the past few years. Think AirBnB - but for cars! Options to pick up/drop off right at the airports, plenty of make/model variety, and most of the time cheaper than the rental companies at the airport. We've used this service before and have had great experiences. Easy to use through their website or app.

Minnie Vans - Operated by Lyft

Get where you need to be in Walt Disney World Resort with this whimsical personal ride service, available via the Lyft app. Need a ride to a restaurant at another Disney Resort hotel? How about a relaxing way to get back to your room after a busy day at one of the Walt Disney World theme parks or the Disney Springs area? Minnie Van service is a great way to get around Walt Disney World Resort quickly and in comfort—all while in a Disney-owned, Disney-operated vehicle, driven by a Cast Member. Minnie Van service is not included in your vacation package, but it is easy to request—just use your smartphone to order and pay for a ride through the Lyft app. Confirm your pickup location and tap “Select Minnie Van". If the Minnie Van service doesn’t immediately display, scroll through vehicle type options until it appears.
