We are the "three peas in a pod" (with Hanna)! Grace and I bonded as early mornings prayer translators and as youth group teachers at our church in VA. She's been my partner in crime and my confidant. She has a sharp mind and a no-nonsense attitude, which makes her such a boss-lady!

We are the "three peas in a pod" (with Grace)! We also served alongside each other in our church in VA as youth group teachers and on praise team. Hanna is so sweet she can find the romantic in anything! I've been encouraged by her mature advice and genuine heart for people.

We've spent countless hours cafe-hopping in Baltimore studying for school and encouraging one another through the ups and downs of grad school. I've been with Stephanie in the most unexpected places including a gay bar, an “Alexa” commercial, and a hospital room! She is an endlessly creative person who also has a big heart for doggies.

When I first met Sharon, I was her assigned mentor for the college ministry she was leading. But over the years, our relationship has grown from mentorship to trusting friendship. I'm so thankful for our genuine conversations and I know I can count on Sharon as she is a fearless and solid sister in Christ!

We grew up together in church, rocking it in our church band together during middle and high school. Peter is chill and laid back, making him so easy to talk to, and is an honest, genuine friend who has been by my side for many years.

Sam and I were in the same homeroom in high school. We were rebels all throughout high school, sharing some crazy adventures together, and we are both old BMW diehards. Sam and his family are so hospitable and he will always make you a cup of Persian tea when you come over!

Evan and I bonded during our high school years. Evan is a good listener and has a kind heart. He’s the kind of person who will sit down with you if you have any concerns and listen without any judgment. He also is a phenomenal drummer and we have had some epic jam sessions together.

I got to know Nick through Sam in high school and we have been good friends since then. Nick is a kind soul and will go out of his way to help you out (I saved thousands on car repairs thanks to him). His generosity and hospitality know no bounds!

I met Taylor in middle school. We have been buddies since then and he is my go-to guy for cool custom-made suits and thoughtful, sincere conversations. Taylor is also getting married in 2019, and I can't wait for his wedding as well!

Sooyon and I knew each other throughout our PhD program, but we truly bonded one fateful night when we had a deep, tearful heart-to-heart at Iggie's pizza. Sooyon has been a precious friend, fellow Zumba addict, and brilliant co-worker! She's been a trustworthy partner in so many different areas of my life and I am so thankful to have her by my side!

David is a kind and caring brother in Christ. We did discipleship training together and spent many memorable nights at karaoke. David has a swoon-worthy Korean pop singer voice and such a warm heart!

Rev. Dr. Sebastian Kim is the pastor of Hope Chapel, where Liz and Won first met! He is not only one of the most serious Bible teachers we know but also an intimate counselor who has prayed for and encouraged us throughout our dating relationship, especially in times of uncertainty and struggle. We are grateful that he will be officially marrying us!
