Sunday, September 15th is the annual Chester County Restaurant and Food Truck festival, right in downtown West Chester outside the steps of the Hotel Warner. While this may make Sunday travel just a bit trickier (allow a little extra time to get out of town), this is a wonderful local event if you can stick around!
Our local theatre features music, film, and plays and will have a CCR / John Fogarty Tribute Band concert on Friday, September 13th.
Come watch Henderson play under the Friday night lights! Matt graduated from Henderson (where his dad also taught for 30+ years), and now our friends’ son is the QB for the team. Game time is 7 PM. Go Warriors!
A critical portion of the Revolutionary War was fought at Valley Forge under the direction of General George Washington. Soldiers spent a harsh winter in the rolling hills that still contain bunkers and other wartime buildings, as well as hiking trails.
See the birthplace of America! The Declaration of Independence was signed at Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell sits just across the street from this historic landmark. If your schedule allows, this is definitely worth a visit!
