The photo below was taken on October 10, 2014 the day that unbeknownst to me that Jacob and I started dating. We first met working at a Mexican restaurant in Chicago in 2013. We were coworkers for a while until one of my close girlfriends came to see the restaurant and turns out had classes with Jake. We all started hanging out (partying) together. For months we endured questions and comments about us liking one another. We insisted we were just friends which was the truth. That following year I spent the fall semester in DC. Jacob came to visit and our love for tequila officially turned into love for each other. I say that unbeknownst to me we started dating October 10, 2014 because that was the day Jake landed in DC. I took him around the city and we took this photo at the White House. It wasn't until weeks later I found out that he was telling people in Chicago that "for all intents and purposes" we were boyfriend and girlfriend. I asked him when we had started dating? and he said he thought in DC. So October 10th it is!
