Our story started long before we met at our apartment building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 2021. The invisible string theory beautifully ties our story together. In 2008, Betsy's little sister and maid of honor, Sophie Ennis was fortunate to have the best first & second-grade teacher in the world - Mrs. Lowe who happens to be Adam's mom! We spent our childhood just missing each other until the time was right. Adam and Betsy met in the elevator of the Buckler as they were both moving into their new apartments—just two floors apart. A few weeks later they had their first date, and the rest is history. 3 more years were spent dating and living at the Buckler (the apartment building and management was NOT the best, but the company more than made up for it). Our three years of living downtown Milwaukee were filled with trips, more than a few rounds of golf, and hundreds of dinner dates! In September 2024, we bought our first house - a beautiful 97-year old home in the heart of Wauwatosa. Our move from downtown was underway, and we settled into our new home over Halloween weekend. It's been the best season of our lives, turning this house into our home. The best was yet to come. In December, we returned to our old apartment at the Buckler, where Adam had the surprise of a lifetime waiting for Betsy. He proposed in the apartment we had shared, the perfect spot to close that chapter of our lives. Fast forward to today, or whenever you happen to be reading this. Chances are wedding planning is in full gear and we're eagerly counting down the days to the best day of our lives: June 6, 2026, when all the planning will come to fruition a great day of celebrating with our family and friends!
