Michael and Lauren met as lifeguards during the summer at Hurricane Harbor Waterpark between semesters. Lauren had returned for her second season and Michael his third. Thankfully, a graduation and a festival celebrating the Ferris Bueller film, meant Lauren and Michael needed to schedule a secondary training outside of the normal time frame. If not for this, the two may have never met!
