In the early days of 2020, just before the world turned upside down, fate had a quirky plan for us. Todd and I were on a rollercoaster with the BLK dating app, deleting and reinstalling it more times than we'd like to admit. Just as I was about to break up with the app for good, I stumbled upon Todd's profile – a fellow book lover who had already swiped right on me. "Finally, a man who speaks my language!" I thought. One swipe left, my number was shared, and the app was history. From that moment, we were glued to our phones, chatting non-stop from dawn till dusk. Our first date was perfectly timed for Valentine's Day, where Todd, the epitome of a gentleman, surprised me with a thoughtful gift. Sparks flew, and we couldn't wait to see each other again, so we set up a movie date for the very next day. Since then, we've been inseparable, best friends on an incredible adventure.
