We grew up in Davis, California where we both attended Davis High School. We first met during sophomore year in confirmation class at St. James, where Nick's mom was our teacher. While we only had one class together in high school (shoutout to AP Art History junior year), we began dating at the end of senior year following a school field trip to Great America amusement park. We spent the day riding roller coasters - who knew we would be just getting started on the ride of our lives! We then headed off to college at UCLA (Corinna) and Cal Poly (Nick). We became very familiar with Highway 101 up and down the California coast between LA and San Luis Obispo as we made our long-distance relationship work throughout college. We continued our long distance relationship after college, when Nick moved to Sacramento and Corinna started dental school in Portland. After 5 years of long distance dating, Nick moved up to Portland in 2016, where we live together now. Nick surprised Corinna with a sunset beach proposal at Avila Beach in December 2018. SLO is a special place near and dear to our hearts and we are excited to get married on the beautiful Central Coast!
