We are getting married in Silcox Hut, which is located one mile above Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood.
There is transportation provided by Timberline Lodge to get all of our guests to and from Silcox. The mode of transportation can vary, depending on the snow level, but will most likely be Snowcat: the little vehicle in the photo above!
Each guest will be able to RSVP for both the wedding and their specific transportation time. To RSVP and see your time, please click on the RSVP tab at the top of this page.
We want everyone to feel their best in whatever they choose to wear! Most people will be in cocktail or semi-formal attire. This means dresses, suits, or dress shirts with slacks are all welcome outfit options. Please remember to bring a jacket - the weather can be chilly on Hood this time of year and weather reports can change quickly. We also recommend flat or sturdy shoes. The floors in the Silcox Hut are stone and can be uneven in spots so please wear footwear that you are comfortable wearing on stone. We do request that you not wear white or ivory.
Since Silcox Hut is essentially a building on the side of a volcano, it has limited space and our guest list is at capacity. As much as we would love to say “the more the merrier,” we have to ask that only the people named on your invitation attend.
We will have common allergens listed on our menu to help you avoid gluten, dairy, beans, and nuts. If you have additional dietary requirements, please reach out to us and we can discuss our menu further.
Please check our registry page on this website for more details on our registry! We have an Amazon registry, as well as a house and honeymoon fund.
