When do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than Friday, August 23. Submit your RSVP right on this site! If you'd prefer, you can also call/text Bri at 301.592.7132. Guests who do not RSVP should bring a chair and a sandwich!

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Answer

YES! We invite everyone to be truly present, and celebrate this special moment with us. Please pocket those phones for the ceremony. (Afterward, you can be as snap-happy as you like! Be sure to share your photos with us using the WeddingMix app!)

Yes! Kids are very welcome, as long as they are included in your RSVP.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire, please! Bri and Josh like to get dressed up, and hope you will too. Let's get fancy and have some fun!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open around 4:30 p.m. Ceremony will begin at 5 p.m.

What's the menu going to be like?

Answer

Dinner will include your choice of bistro filet, salmon, or mushroom ravioli (vegan). A kids plate of fruit and chicken tenders is also available. Please submit your dinner selection with your RSVP. Be sure to let us know of any food allergies of which we should be aware!

What if it rains?

We are planning a beautiful ceremony and cocktail hour on the rooftop of VisArts. If the weather doesn't cooperate, there's nothing to worry about! We have a great alternative indoors.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

If you are driving directly, there are three public parking garages (A, B, and C) within a block of the venue. See "Hotel & Travel" page for a map of parking garage locations. If you are staying overnight, parking is available at the Cambria Hotel at a discounted rate. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of VisArts.

Will I have to pay to park?

Answer

We know that paying to park is a hassle! We've done our best to secure the best rates possible. Guests who utilize any of the parking garages (A,B, or C) for our wedding may pick up validated parking tickets during the reception. Overnight parking at the Cambria Hotel is available for $5 per night.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We are excited to offer all our guests (of legal drinking age) an open bar! Please party responsibly.

Will there be a bridal or wedding shower?

Answer

We have decided not to have a shower. Due to Bri's hectic work and travel schedule, along with the growing trend of couples choosing to skip the traditional shower, we have opted to keep things simple. While we might not be having a shower, we definitely look forward to seeing everyone gathered together for our wedding day. And we better see you out on the dance floor!
