Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lara Burroughs and Quy Le
Whether you’re local or traveling in to celebrate with us, we hope you take a little time to explore and enjoy everything Anaheim and the surrounding area has to offer. From craft breweries to cozy brunch spots and hidden gems, here are a few of our favorite ways to spend time while you’re here.

Breweries 🍻

Did you know Anaheim is home to more than 25 breweries? It’s one of California’s most underrated craft beer destinations! If you have time to explore before or after the reception, we highly recommend grabbing a pint (or two) at: Radiant Beer Co. – Creative beers, beautiful branding, and a welcoming outdoor patio. Great for relaxing and photo ops. Unsung Brewing – Comic book-themed, always pouring something unique, and conveniently located near the Anaheim Packing District. Other great spots for a mini beer crawl: Bottle Logic, Modern Times Leisuretown, and Brewery X.

🎡 Local Attractions

Downtown Disney – A fun, ticket-free way to get a little Disney magic. Shop, snack, and stroll through a festive atmosphere—especially pretty in December. The Anaheim Packing House – A restored citrus packing plant turned trendy food hall with live music, cozy corners, and plenty to explore (even if you’re not eating). Disneyland & California Adventure – If you're planning to extend your stay, the parks are decked out for the holidays and extra magical this time of year.

🍴 Places to Eat

From casual bites to sit-down dinners, these are some of our favorite local (non-chain!) spots that are totally worth checking out: Poppy & Seed (Anaheim) – A garden-to-table restaurant with seasonal menus and cocktails, all in a beautiful greenhouse setting. Cortina’s Italian Market (Anaheim) – Family-run and beloved for its hearty pastas, Italian subs, and classic deli counter. Mokkoji Shabu Shabu Bar (Cypress) – Warm, flavorful, and interactive—build your own hot pot with top-notch ingredients. The Crab Shack (Cypress) – Casual Cajun seafood boil with bold flavors and big portions. Bring your appetite and maybe a bib. Tacos Los Cholos (Anaheim) – Grilled tacos that are full of smoky flavor and local pride. Order at the counter, eat with joy. The Scratch Room (Anaheim) – A solid brunch spot with generous portions, comforting dishes, and great coffee.

🍨 Something Sweet

Looking for dessert or a cool treat after dinner? Frostbites Crepes & Frozen Delights (Cypress) – Creamy soft serve layered with Italian ice or tucked into a crepe. Light, refreshing, and totally customizable. Joe’s Italian Ice (Anaheim) – A local favorite known for its smooth soft serve and rotating flavors of Italian ice. Lines move quickly—and it’s worth the wait. House of Chimney Cakes (Anaheim) – Delight in warm, freshly baked chimney cakes—a soft, sweet, spiral pastry often filled or topped with chocolate, cinnamon, or nuts. Perfectly Instagrammable and delicious. Cookie Plug (Anaheim) – Classic and creative cookies made fresh daily, including oversized and stuffed options. A must-try for cookie lovers!
