Wedding Party

Mike

Groom

What can be said about the groom other than he is one-of-a-kind. Everyone in the Lovelace family knew it would take someone very special to win the family over and to put up with the groom and his shenanigans. It wasn't long after meeting the bride that he knew she may just be the one. Sharing a love of sports, animals, travel, and being able to pick on eachother, he knew she had a ton to contribute to the family. The groom is able to fully be himself and share his love of his favorite things with the Bride and excited to spend the rest of his life with her and sharing many more incredible experiences with him the kids, and the dogs of course.

Melissa

Bride

Mellard, Meladict, Mel, Aunty Tilly, Sassy, Meladona, these are all just some of the brides nicknames in the Lovelace home. The groom may have finally found someone to keep up with his love of sports, if not more! Mel loves the Cubs and the Packers, really any kind of sports. Just don't mention the Red Sox. Mel instantly took to the Lovelace clan and didn't take long to get comfortable around the kids and dogs. Her love of animals, road trips, kids, and her care for others make her a great addition to the Lovelace family and are happy to have her. Mel was surprised in her first trip to Nashville when the groom and best man accompanied her on a private tour of the Tennessee Titans stadium where the groom professed his love and asked her to be his bride. With a power stance and resounding yes, the couple and best man proceeded to enjoy some of the best places Nashville had to offer including sitting near the ice of a Nashville Predators game and enjoying some Hattie B's kitchen.

Mike

Best Man

Yes, you read that right, another Mike. Although this one isn't the one saying "I Do" he is the best friend of the groom. For the last 16 years, Mike and Mike are known for Shenanigans. Mike has been there through thick and thin including the loss of the Groom's Mother. He is the guy you want in your corner when it hits the fan, or needing someone to bounce ideas off of. He's a good guy and an eligible bachelor ladies.

Camden

Groomsman

Camden is the youngest of the Lovelace crew aka "Tiny Coach Lovelace." He is a spitting young image of the groom and loves to give the bride a hard time but also shares his love like that of a Sour Patch Kid. He loves sports and his dogs. Although a Chiefs fan, we still allow him to stay in the house. He's so cute afterall.

Jeremy

Groomsman

After meeting in church and serving on the media team together, it didn't take long for Jeremy and the groom to bond. Jeremy will give the shirt off his back to his friends and a great dad to his girls. Like the groom, Jeremy loves dogs and helped get the Lovelace family into camping.

Mario

Groomsman

Mario and Mike met while coaching with Gridiron Football in Green Bay a couple of years ago. Mario is always a go to person that we can always count on and willing to go the extra mile whenever we need it. Mario is a proud dad, husband, and veteran and a great person for Mike (coach) to seek advice from as a good sounding board.

Jason

Groomsman

Having met under unique circumstances and while Mike was visiting the family during a work appointment, it didn't take long for these guys to connect. In fact, Jason has traveled with the groom and his family on a few occasions down to the Dells area and quickly have seen what it is that makes this place so special.

Freya

Flower Girl

The Bride's Niece is likely to steal the show. Aunty Tilly couldn't forget about her favorite little girl on her big day.

Amanda

Maid of Honor

Amanda and Melissa have worked together for the last few years at Aurora. She is often Melissa's sounding board and bad influence (in only the best ways possible) We are happy to have her as part of the wedding party and for being there for the wedding and everything else we may ask of her.

Kylie

Bridesmaid

The oldest sibling of the lovelace family. Loves to be playing football with dad or stealing melards sweatshirts ( aka The soccer hoodie). May make them both mad but they can't be that mad I'm still the favorite for being the oldest. She loves being outside or going to shawno to go swimming/ paddle boarding. Glad to finally have another girl in the family that can handle the "Boy attitude". as dad and cam like to call it. But anyways I'm glad there both happy and can grow old together.

April

Bridesmaid

Melissa's sister-in-law is the final bridesmaid. Whether she's running a marathon, enjoying nature, or rocking it out as a mom, she's someone Mel can count on any time she has a question or needs an escape away to the very north woods of the U.P.

Kirsten

Bridesmaid

Also known as Jason's better half, Kirsten has quickly taken to the bride and kept her in the loop of what she is signing up for when thinking of becoming a Lovelace. No doubt that her friendship is valued by the Bride and Groom and looking forward to many years of friendship to come.

Leroy (Sr.)

Father of the Groom

If you have ever met the groom, then you know where he gets his ability to chat with anyone. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Leroy Sr was often tasked with driving the groom and his brothers to the Dells area. It was those times as a family getaway that could be a night or a week doing sometimes the same things each time, that made this place special. The Dells reminds the groom of the good and fun times of his childhood and has passed this along to his children and now his bride. Leroy Sr definitely will be spotted at the casino at some point during this wedding weekend.

Pattie (Deceased)

Mother of the Groom

Tasked with raising 3 boys, Pattie had to be a strong person! It was actually the groom's mother who took him to his first NFL Training Camp that sparked his love of the sport. This love carries on to this day as Mike has dove into the world of sports as a career and chased his professional aspirations until retirement. The groom's mom definitely passed on her stubbornness and tough love onto her son. Having passed in 2016, we will think of her on this special day and wish she was here to keep the groom in line if you ask his bride to be.

Raymond

Father of the Bride

Joanne

Mother of the Bride

Sami

Angel (The Reason we Met)

Had it not been for this miracle child, the Bride and Groom may have never met. It was at a concert in which the Groom and his friends and their families were attending together that rewrote their path. It didn't take long after meeting little Sami at a Halloween Party that the Bride saw why Sami meant so much to him and his family. Unfortunately, we lost little Sami in 2023 to a rare childhood cancer. Her memory lives on through her siblings and her parents along with the bride and groom. We remember Sami today and always and you will notice a special green and purple band in the engagement pictures that is a tribute to her courageous battle. In fact, the groom has not removed the band since the day they met and will continue to do so until she decides it's time. The Bride and Groom ask you consider donating to Battlecorn Care Packages out of the Fox Valley here in Wisconsin in memory of Sam. All proceeds stay in the local area and support local families with children battling life altering stages of cancer.

Gomer

Boss Dog

A staffordshire ridgeback mix, Gomer has been part of the Lovelace family for 4 years and was rescued from a local family. Now almost 11 years old, he still has his puppy moments. He'll work for treats and loves a good butt rub. Gomer instantly bonded with the bride and helped show off her softer and animal loving side immediately.

Mila

Girl Dog of the family

Mila was adopted as a young puppy from a Green Bay Animal Rescue (Lucky 7) and instantly fell in love with Camden. She is definitely up there in terms of being the sassiest female in the house and likes to give hugs and nips to the bride to be. She loves her ropes and chew toys and somehow, walks never wear her down.

Brutus

Doggo

Brutus is the most recent addition to the Lovelace family. After facing the mean streets of the West Bend Metropolis, Brutus quickly found himself as a foster failure after our family originally intended to start working with foster dogs and trying to better socialize Gomer and Mila. He may be the smallest member of our family but has one of the biggest hearts and biggest heads. Mel sure is happy to have her little Brutey in our forever home.
