The classic story of two people who were always meant to be. We met at Hampshire Regional High School back in 2010, where Julia and her friends instantly clicked with Ryan and his crew. Little did we know, that friendship would be how a forever love story began. Ryan always seemed to know Julia was the one, and once their lives aligned in their 10th grade English class, a spark was ignited. What started as a beautiful friendship grew into love. Ryan asked Julia out and after she finally said yes senior year, it’s been hard to stay away from each other ever since. While it’s no secret there has been a lot to overcome, we’ve had the chance to grow together. We’ve loved, we’ve lost, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and now we’re here to show that love can be enough to overcome anything. As the years passed, we began to see more and more how the universe has always wanted us together. Both families grew up vacationing in Maine, only a short 20 minutes from one another, and it’s fun to think that our paths may have even crossed there years earlier. We later learned of Julia’s father, Greg, and Ryan’s father, Kevin, meeting long before the two of us really knew of one another. Since Kevin’s passing, it warms our hearts to hear Greg talk about their chats full of laughter, music, and their kids, when they probably should have been talking business. All these invisible strings have led us to a beautiful life together. We’ve lived together since 2020, adopted our two cats, Reggie + Bruce, who have become our whole world, and have rediscovered so much beauty together. As Ryan said to Julia when he got down on one knee—we couldn’t imagine a more perfect place. Proposing on Goose Rocks Beach and now getting married in Kennebunkport at The Nonantum Resort feels like the most natural next step. These places hold such deep meaning to us, which is why we can’t wait to share them with you as we begin our forever, officially.
