The year was 2010. Jonathan was attending Flower Mound High School and Kelsey was attending Marcus High School. Though they did not realize it at the time, their paths had already crossed many times by that point. From sharing the same friends to attending many of the same high school events, their encounters had barely begun. Fast forward to spring of 2012. Jonathan was a freshman studying Biomedical Sciences and Kelsey was studying Animal Sciences. Being at Texas A&M together, they continued to cross paths in so many ways. Kelsey lived down hallway in the dorms from Jonathan's future brother-in-law and had met Jonathan's freshman roommate. Both were in their basic sciences and took many of the same classes together. They even shared group study sessions. Still they had not met. Now the time is spring of 2015. Jonathan was preparing to attend medical school at Texas A&M while Kelsey was beginning her career. At this point, Jonathan had spent time with Kelsey's college neighbors and had even attended some of the same parties as Kelsey. By this time, they shared many mutual friends but still had not met. Finally, in June of 2018, Kelsey had just moved back to Dallas and was at lunch when a third year medical student noticed her Aggie ring. As they began to talk, they realized how many times they should have met previously and how much they had in common. Jonathan knew that this girl was special and that he could not let this one go so later that evening, he asked her on their first date. From that day on, the conversation has never died. We still laugh about all of the moments when we were "just there" but the timing wasn't right yet. We really do believe that we met at the perfect time and have been an inseparable team ever since then.
