We met during our sophomore year of college, in our very first semester. What started as a simple friendship quickly grew as we spent more time together—playing iMessage games, hanging out, and traveling with our college basketball teams. Before long, we became inseparable. After months of friendship (and Spencer patiently asking Angie to be his girlfriend more than a few times!), we officially started dating in February 2020. Just two weeks later, the world changed with the start of COVID-19, and we were suddenly sent home—back to our separate states of Texas and Florida. What began as a brand-new relationship turned into months of long distance. Whether it was 15+ hour drives or nerve-wracking flights, we did whatever it took to see each other and make it work. Through it all, we grew stronger together. Fast forward to today, and we’ve been together for six amazing years. What started during an uncertain time in the world has turned into something lasting and meaningful. Now here we are, finally making it official! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you, dance the night away, and start this next chapter together.
