Maticoor

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

We invite you to join us in celebrating the Maticoor ceremony, a cherished pre-wedding tradition. Ladies: Bright and festive colors like red, yellow, orange and pink are encouraged to reflect the joyful spirit of the ceremony! Gentlemen: Opt for bright and cheerful colors to complement the celebratory atmosphere.

The Maticoor holds deep cultural and emotional significance, marking and important rite of passage for the bride and groom. The ritual is to honor Mother Earth (Mati) and seek her blessings for fertility and prosperity for the couple. It also symbolizes the bride's transition from her parental home to her new life with her husband. During the ceremony, the women in the family will apply tumeric to the bride and groom, believed to cleanse and beautify before the upcoming wedding. The ceremony includes music and dancing creating a festive and joyous atmosphere. Vegetarian dinner provided

Hindu Wedding

Traditional Indian Attire is Encouraged!

We request the honor of your presence at our Hindu wedding. A Hindu wedding is a vibrant and elaborate celebration steeped in tradition, rituals and cultural significance. Every ritual is performed to seek blessings from deities, elders and the universe for the couple's prosperous and harmonious married life. The joyous festivities will create unforgettable memories for the couple and their families. We begin with the Baraat, a traditional walk and dance for the groom with all the guests. The Baraat will start at 4 p.m. from the lobby. Music and cocktail hour to follow.

Traditional Ceremony

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
