We have decided to change both our last names to Mylls (miles) as a way to symbolize our new beginning together as we become a family. It is a mixture of Crystal's family's last name (Myers) and Brian's last name (Spruill).
In light of COVID-19, we are asking that guests 16 years and older have recieved full vaccines. If you will not be fully vaccinated 2 weeks prior to our wedding, we will be enforcing a mask policy at all events.
The ceremony and reception are both taking place at the edge of the canyon, next to each other. As you near the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon State Park, there will be a sign on your left for "Palo Duro Jeep Tours." Follow this road to the building. From there, guests will be shuttled to the site.
We're saying casual so everyone can be as comfortable as possible. A sundress or trousers with a collared shirt are great options. If you’re interested in hiking in the park, don’t forget your hiking boots!
Light grey, orange, and teal. We will be in grey & white.
Yes.
We are asking that no pets are present during the ceremony. Let us know if you need accommodations for your pets around the Lubbock area during this time.
We’ve included our entire registry on Zola! It includes items from other stores.
The weather can be somewhat unpredictable around the canyon. Either the weather will be perfect or it will be terrible, without anything in between. If the wedding needs to be postponed due to weather, we will try to update you ASAP.
It will be outdoors.
After the ceremony, we will be taking photos nearby for about 45 minutes. Guests are welcome to have drinks and fellowship during this time.
There will be a rehearsal dinner with family on Wednesday evening. We will be having a get-together at our house Friday evening as well. We have no plans for Saturday or Sunday, so if you'd like to do something, please reach out to us.
We will miss you! Please make sure to RSVP "no" as soon as you can, so we may plan accordingly.
There isn't really an address for the venue. If you navigate to the state park, the venue will be on your left before entering the park. It is marked with a sign "Palo Duro Jeep Tours." If you get to the visitor center, you've gone too far.
We ask that you arrive at 2pm (an hour before the ceremony) so there is time to shuttle everyone to the site and we can get started on time!
We chose not to reserve a hotel block so those traveling will have flexibility in where they stay. We live in Lubbock, which is where the rehearsal dinner and Friday BBQ will be. The ceremony and reception are in Canyon, TX about 2 hours away from Lubbock. We expect most people will be staying in Lubbock or Amarillo.
Please RSVP by October 2nd, 2021. You can RSVP on our website by going to the RSVP page and following prompts.
We will have a selection of hot drinks, water, and iced tea. There will be desserts and snacks served.
Please let us know on your RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.
We ask that guests refrain from taking any of their own photos during the ceremony. We want everyone to fully enjoy these moments without a screen between us. Please feel free to take photos and socialize during the reception. We are using the hashtag #LoveforMylls
