FAQs

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Smart/dressy casual: Please come presentable but comfortable to have some fun for the night! Try to stay away from jeans. We still want you to dress up a little! Please note that our venue is a campground. There may be some uneven ground for the ceremony and the temperature will vary. The reception is inside of a lodge which will be less weather variant.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! There is a playground and plenty of things to do at the campground. We will have a kids menu option as well.

Question

What are we eating?

Answer

We will have a buffet of a Michigan Fall menu including appetizers, whitefish, chicken, butternut squash ravioli, Brussel sprouts, salad, and dessert options. There will be a kids menu of Chicken strips and Mac and cheese. Please let us know how many children on your rsvp will want this menu.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a mixture of beer, seltzer, wine, and maybe some liquor. If you are looking for something in particular, you can always bring it to the lodge from your campsite!

Question

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

Dogs are allowed as it is a campground! We ask that you keep your dog at your campsite during the ceremony and reception. Our dogs will be part of the ceremony and reception and are the only dogs allowed in that area of the campground at that time.

Question

Are we invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

We would like to keep the rehearsal dinner to the people that need to rehearse for the wedding including immediate family and the wedding party. It’s nothing fancy anyway! Enjoy the campground during that time and making some camp meals! There are fire pits, stoves/microwaves in the cabins if you need to use one, a charcoal grill on the main area, and stores/hot food within ten minutes of the campground. There is also a gas station right on the corner of the road the campground is on.
