For those who don't know, Sean and I met at work! He worked on the video team on the first floor of the building and I worked on the communications/PR team on the second floor. When I joined the company, my teammate Jason told Sean (his work buddy) that the new girl liked the Green Bay Packers. He couldn’t believe it! (We live in Texas, after all...) Of course, Sean the Cheesehead had to see for himself if I was a “real fan,” and *obviously* I passed all his Packers tests. After that, Sean came up with all kinds of reasons to stop by my cubicle and chat. We've been lovingly referred to as the “Jim and Pam” of the Neighborly marketing department - best compliment ever!
Like the (secret) sweet romantic that he is, Sean took me back to Portland, the very first place we traveled together back in 2018. We returned to all our favorite places: Hot Lips Pizza (where we first said "I love you"), Powell’s City of Books, and Cathedral Park/St. John’s Bridge. When he didn't pop the question at any of these sentimental spots, I'll admit - I was a little sad. It all seemed too romantic to pass up! I should've known he had the best surprise planned! Sean gave us a beautiful new memory and "sentimental spot" when he asked me to marry him at Latourell Falls. To top it off, he had a photographer there to capture the whole thing and spend an hour with us afterwards taking pictures! We were so giddy, and it was truly one of the very best days of our lives. We finished off the day by visiting and eating lunch at Multnomah Falls (a bigger/more touristy waterfall nearby), FaceTiming friends and family, and laughing at Helium Comedy Club. Sean planned the perfect day and I'm so lucky. We can't wait to celebrate with you very soon! Thank you for loving and supporting us!
